Welcome to the 18" club. Those rims are sweet...a ton lighter than mine. Looks great too, nice job!

So me and Mrglynis (sp?) took her out.

Mrglynis is from Charlotte, and came to Charleston to buy my wheels....THANKS !!!!!!!!......and we took her for a spin....well needless to say the lighter weight makes a HUGE difference...I have chirped 3rd gear before, but not a full 1/2 rotation, and with another passager.

I checked my local shop...R&D performance. I got WAY below the tirerack price, delivered pricing....and installed.

I guess this means you'll be driving more, which means I need to drive more so you don't out-mileage me.

 

Ummmm, a redneck friend of mine up in Charlotte helped me a lot.




Oooops. The guy decided to drive down yesterday afternoon, he is taking the day off today (friday) and spending it in Charleston. Worked out pretty good. He has a nice 99 GXE 5 speed. Its white, soon to have some nice 17's.

nice wheels... bus just so u knw, your gas mileage may decrease if u do a lot of highway driving.

Ummm I don't think so. They are a lot lighter, I will get better mileage. Plus, i think my rps are lower by a point or two.
