Hey guys. Just wanted to know if Nissan ever made a liner for the trunk cover. The 4th generation had a carpeted trunk lid, but I haven't seen any for the 5th generation. BTW, I went to Nissan and asked and they said that the part doesn't exist. Anyways, if anyone has any info on if it exists and where I can buy it I'd greatly appreciate it (otherwise I'm gonne have to move my lazy @$$ to make one).

 

They do make one. Mine didnt come with one either. Its wierd, its like I had to get some package to get that cover. You can order the linder for about $85 or so from a dealer.

Thanks a lot for the quick reply. I'll try to get to the dealer over the weekend. You wouldn't happen to know the part number do ya? (sorry for being a pain in da butt, last time i went to my dealer they said it doesn't exist). But at least I know iI'm not crazy- I thought I did see someone with it. Thanks again.

I think my 2K SE has carpeting under its trunk lid... the car appears to be fully loaded so it might have come with an option.

 

Yea dont bother, just stick in aftermarket HIDs in the current assembly.

i got carpet underneath my trunk lid and I got a trunk mat that has "MAXIMA" engraved...part of the TE package in 03

 

i could have sworn i had one two when i picked up my TE but , after a few services @ the local nissan it's vanished. I can't even remember if i ever did have it.
