I just got my windows tinted.The problem is st the top of the rear window the tint is not sticking so well. I was woundering if anybody else hand that problem and if so what did you do. Or what can be done. Thanks

 

You could go to the place where you got the windows tinited, and tell them that they did a bad job, and you want it done properly.

 

..to the place that did the work and have them remove that tint and put on a new sheet but this time apply it with a heat gun to help the drying process. And if it's cold where you live it will take a few days for the glue from the tint to dry.

1 Question dhurley, how would you know that it's peeling. You're not supposed to put you're windows down for at least 3 days after the job has been done. The shop may not honor your request.

 

It is not the sides it is the rear back window. And thanks for the advice

 

The shop that did my tint advised against putting any tint on the black stuff that surrounds the rear window. He said it will not adhere. I'll try to borrow a digital camera and post a pic of my rear window. The tint comes within 1/16th of an inch all the way around the black stuff and it looks awesome. When looking at the car you cant see where one ends ant the other begins. the advantages of a $300 tint job with Formula 1 tint.
