Well, since I run around both the 5th Gen and the I35 page I thought I should throw some pictures up here too.

2002 I35 will all options, sports package, winter package, sun package, rim upgrade.

Mods. H&R springs and tints is all.

Oh I forgot about the muffler. I hated the way the stock one looked. I had my buddy weld the tips off and we welded those on. I am not completely satisfied because the new ones werent great quality. They were difficult to get even, and if you can tell they are not exactly even. It's also not as close to the bumper as I would like. When is it ever right anyways?

The rims are the 17's, same style. I have been contemplating doing that swap, not sure yet. With the drop I don't think that it will work.

That looks tight! I think you should definitely get teh 18's from the M45/Q45!...

What brand of tips did you get/where did you get them? Just asking so the rest of us don't make the same mistake...

The tips were bought from some link I was given a while back. I have no idea where they are from, but I can tell you that they are not of a big manufacturer.
The build quality, in certain aspects is nicer, I am not sure about "better." The interior is far superior, compared to my uncles 03 SE maxima. I personally like the body lines better, but that's all taste!

steel...drop and 18" combo will be fine, 2k2nyc runs 245/45/18's on H&Rs with no rub....

Nice looking ride Lee!! I've got to get some pics snapped of mine and get them up.

It is too bad they dont give the I35 the manual option, the G35 has it right? And the new TL looks like 1 bad-*** ride, 270hp and 6-speed....me likey alot. I think I see my next used car a few years down the road.

Oh, and are you still against running your car for some times? I'm going to try and get there before the season is over....last year they ran until the end of Nov I believe.

Later,

S.L.
02 Maxima SE 6-speed
Mods? Never had them, never will. This car is plenty fast stock.

I like the interior of I35's better, but the exterior is in my opinion more sedate. I like the curves around the wheels at all corners, I35's are flat. Biggest difference to me.

The desire to hit the track is still not rising. Maybe some other time it will, but as of now I have no intention of going there. Let me know how your trip goes though!
