1.) My car is not holding the line in curves, and torque steers (both worse than before). I had rims/tires replaced on the right side recently. So it's around 2000 miles on the passenger side tires, and 8000 miles on the driver's side. Haven't had time to have them switched around (they're directional tires). Is that the most likely cause of this?

2.) Also, I suspect my motor mounts may be shot. How can I find out for sure without getting the car up on a lift?

 

have you done an alignment?

 

Yeah. I had it aligned about a month ago, and had the wheels balanced a couple weeks ago.
