Someone please console me...
I have owned the car since April, and this is what I have racked up so far, none because of my fault:
-2 small, dime sized dents, one on driver front door, one on back. No paint was taken off.
-2 small, parallel scratches about 3 inches long on the rear driver side door, hardly visible.
-1 attempted keying, leaving a VERY faint line about 1.5 feet in length on back panel of passenger side.
-a few nicks on the back bumper, but that's to be expected.
I found the 1.5 ft. scratch today.. ****ed me off. This sucks.. just venting, I guess..

I should have said that I park outside 99.9% of the time, and live in a community with an evergroing population of people my age (18-24). I would say "damn college kids", but I'm one myself, heh. The garages that they offer aren't any better, I have heard way too many horror stories in the 11 years that I've lived here, including a murder and attempted murder inside the garage (multilevel, underground, fits A LOT of cars). I guess I'll have to live with it, and get to buffing it all out sometime..
you can probably have the scratch buffed out... too bad about the dings and missing paint, though.
also, it may not have been an attempted keying...it might have been a backpack from someone walking between parked cars, could have been a shopping cart... have some faith that not all people are a-holes

We can't constantly worry about the car not getting these mishaps. When owning a car, it all about risk. We live in the world of some idiots and irresponsible people. Look at the bright side, be more concern about your well being and live a long healthy life. Like my mom says "A car is just a car, it's a hunk of metal"
You can get the dings taken out. I cost me $100 to get 2 nickel sized dents out.
You have as much luck as I do. I've gotten 3 dents (two caused my a shopping cart that was obviously pushed towards my car), one star on my windshield, a big scratch on my hood (from someone keying it), and I've been in one hit and run (hit my back bumper). There are a lot of stupid people out there. That's just how life is. My old POS that I drove for 3 years never got one scratch.

let me make you feel a little better... hehe. baught the car in April for my B-day. always park it in a lot by my job and always in the garage in my house. one day the lot at work was too full so i leave it on the street. i come back to my car, there a f---in blazer sittin on top of my rear bumper. RRRRR (left 2 dents from his screws on the licence plate) if it was my old OLDSMOBILE .. i would have backed right into him just for the hell of it. now i found a scratch on my hood. and chipped paint on the hood probably from rocks. crappy Nissan Paint i believe. and found a long scratch on the spoiler and another one on the rear bumper. feel better ? just a little? ohh yea ....this is in Brooklyn NY
i have the same problems...i work at a hospital and the parking is horrible. i have a few scratches on my max from parking there...now i dont care how far i have to walk, i try and park in a wide open area where not a lot if people park
