Noise from right wheel while driving

The noise happens only when the wheels are turning and sounds like someone is shaking salt in a can and sometimes squeaks. I didn't realize it until i turned my music down and roll the passenger side window down. Could it be the brakes even though the noise only exist while the car is moving and finally stops when the car completely stops?

Its like a high-pitch "salt shaking in a can" sound. Anyone knowing what it may be, your reply is appreciated.

does it sound like something is rubbing just a tad bit each time the wheel makes a rotation?

if so, i had the same thing on my right front wheel. dealer couldnt figure out what it was. but i just recently got an alignment and the noise seems to be gone.

sounds like a bad wheel bearing... do this:

jack up the car so that the noisy wheel is off the ground. Hold wheel at 6:00 and 12:00 and pull towards you. If there is any play in that direction, you have a bad wheel bearing.

I will look into lifting the car and doing the test. Also, I don't think the problem really existed until I had new tires put on. Could the dealer that put the tires on have did something wrong or is bad wheel bearings normal wear and tear for our Maxima's?

After riding today, I think the sound is coming for the rear right wheel. Its louder at about 50 MPH. Sounds like someone is shaking a baby rattle very fast or maybe a salt shaker. Its annoying and I was wondering why people were looking at my car as I approached them. For now, I crank up the Bose and act as if it doesn't exist; I can't hear it over the stereo with the windows shut.

Any suggestions, let me know
