My slight variation of the OSCAI

My slight variation because of what I am using as the "scoop". However, I have already removed it to start on a new and improved version.

nice! given any thought to painting it black so that it blends more? i just used shop vac hose and a scoop attachment for mine...all blended very well.

No thank you, I prefer the sound level of the intake to be more inline with the character of the vehicle. Basically; subtle.

Yeah, I thought about painting it, but it wasn't on the car for even 36 hours, so didn't get that far. The next one will be lower profile, so may or may not paint it.

Can't make it to the gathering on Friday, since I read this on Saturday I'll check out that thread...

Honestly I don't care for any of the intake designs that are on the market for the Maxima, so I am experimenting with my own. This was my first attempt, and has already been removed. Apparantly some on this forum are only concerned with conformity!!

agreed! some here are only interested in something if it comes will a nifty name-brand sticker...and an inflated price tag.

whether or not the product actually performs any better is irrelevant to them. it makes them sleep better just to know they blindly rode the bandwagon!
