Convert CALI spec to FEDERAL?
Convert CALI spec to FEDERAL?
After searching through the board for information on Y pipes, I've realized that my Cali spec car will still have 1 too many converters on it if I just do a Y pipe.
Is there a good way to get rid of both pre-cats? Why is one left over?
My goal is to get better mid and upper range power with out increasing the noise level "much".
I love the way the car drives, but it needs just a little more power.
Last time I said " just a little more power." I ended up with a new intake, manual boost controler and several other mods to my Saab.
Old habits die hard.

Look this over, I think you will find that converting cali to fed spec isnt worth the effort.

Cattman here I come!
any advice on intakes? Like I said, I'm trying to keep the car relatively quiet. I put a cone filter intake on the Saab and it made the turbo noise very loud (sounds like a fighter jet spooling up). Now if only someone would buy it!
