I'm tempted to email all the bidders and tell them how to make their own clear side markers. One guy is willing to pay $43 for a set!! Crackhead.

Dont do it... The guy just wants to make a few dollars... I was even thinking about doing this... If they were true maxima enthusiast's, they would have easily found this place and seen how to make them.

What I don't understand is that if these orange markers new cost about $35 EACH, how is this guy making money buy converting them to clear? I have not tried this conversion yet, but I'd imagine that you gotta spend at least a hour or so to do the job. I don't know about you guys, but I know what an hour of my time is worth!

I really think that is Kev's picture, it's on his site!

Hey people... I gave that person permission to use my pictures on eBay. He is a member of the board, so I don't want to give out his name. I am happy to share info, that's why I posted the instructions up on my site. If he didn't ask for permission, I would've ripped him a few and then some.

Thanks for being aware and telling me about it! It's much appreciated!!!

... BTW if you want clears, you can get them from me.

If the housing underneath the lense is orange, is silver the color of choice to paint them? If so, did you spray or brush the paint?

You know what? I know this doesnt really matter, but I pulled out my rear markers for the first time. The housing is red. Not that I was going to make my own (I have ready made clear rears in my room), but I just wanted to see... And it is
RED
.

There now...gone later

Look out guys. The front side markers come off the car fairly easily. Someone could rip them off of your car and perform the "clearing" of the lenses ...and then auction them off!!!

Yeah, give them all your info and what not. Let's split the $$$ after the auction is over.
