I spent another 2 hours working on it yesterday (after having done the bed comforter sponge cure thing about 3 months ago). I stopped some random new rattle that was VERY annoying, but forgot to realize that the little clips that no longer fit because of the foam are causing a lot of the rattle by not being attached to anything. So I'm gonna quickly go in again and take them out.
However, I played some music without the deck on, and the actual metal plate of the rear deck flexed visibly from the bass. I put a layer of SecondSkin on (secondskinaudio.com) and it lessened the flex, but not all the way. And, my aftermarket clear sidemarkers rattle way more than the OEM ones, so it doesn't sound so great outside. Oh well, inside it's almost perfect, and that's what counts.
