What do you guys think about replacing the yellow bulbs in the rear blinkers with red bulbs? So when signalling, the half circle becomes a full red circle.
It should be legal as well, coz I've seen cars with all red lights in the rear.

Give me your opinions.

I was thinking that same thing this morning on the way to work. I guess its whatever you like better. Although I think flashing orange is more visible.

Why not try this..

Just tint the lens red. That way, the cops can't give you any grief. And the lights will still look all red-provided you don't signal, that is

rear blinker light

here's what i did. i thought about making them all red, but thought it would look really generic. i prefer the yellow better.

but what i did was compromised. i got some red spray paint and lightly speckled the bulbs until it have a deep orange/red tint. not stock, not all red. just a 'mean' orange/red.

nice

For a while, the company 3m made this sticker that matched the red tailight perfectly. It is very thin and when applied cannot be noticed. Even feeling it is hard to tell. I put it on the lower hald of the circle and is now one large red oval. But the company 3m stop making this tape. ANother alternative is to paint the lens. I also took my car to the tint shop and made two small perfect tint circles and tinted out the two reverse lights. I kept it for a while, looked funny so I removed the tint.

Black max where could u tell me where u found the white bulbs for the rear blinkers, ive been lookin for them for a longggggg time and cant find any. And kaf do u wat kind of paint did u use to paint ur bulbs. Does it have to be the specific import bulb paint or could it be any generic paint. Lol my friend suggested usin water colors. But im wonderin if any of the above sticks to the bulb.

White bulbs can be bought at the local car store like pepboys. BUT.... ok.... the orang one has different little metal prongs than the norm. By the similar white one and file down one metal stub so that there is only one and it should fit fine. I have white right now. No need to spend extra money. bulbs hould be a few dollars. Just sand it down or file it down well. I couldnt find a file so i used the nail clipper file... haha.... you know the little thing that swings out on a nail clipper.. hehe
