Maxima people are so fast!!!

Whenever i saw a maxima on the road, they always drive so fast. No matter local or highway, they drive their maximas like a race car. I guess everyone loves the performance of the maxima, cuz its sound, power, and the feel is so tight whenever u drive it on the road. It made u want to hit it. The engine is running so smooth whenever you step on the gas. the commecial is always right, maxima is really a 4 door body, 2 door soul car. Cars like it=0 I just want to say, i love my maxima and i will never regret with my choice

I used to drive through CT for work and the cops are BAD*SS about giving tickets... they use confiscated vehicles as undercover highway cars so you NEVER know what kind of car is going to pull you over. Also, the "no radar detectors" law doesn't help either.

People don't speed on the highways in CT because people get caught!

edit: "no radar law" was repealed in 1998 - woo-hoo!

i never drive fast here in CT. the highway cops have got their thing down to an art. its pretty impressive actually. i find that its always the BMW, Benz, and, more than any other, Audi people that drive excessivly fast, regardless of their age. Of course then there are the morons at UConn who think their Ford Tempo from 1928 is the ultimate street racer (thats a quote from some girl I know actually....) Max people that I've seen tend to drive fairly normally.

We are fast...I can run a 4.5 in the 40yd dash...

Can't say the same for ALL Maxima drivers, but the MILF on the onramp this morning ripped past me and the cars ahead like a bat out of hell in her 5th gen SE as soon as we merged. A white 4th gen GLE was close in pursuit...older lady (i.e. not a MILF).

Even though VA and DC still have that law, I always thought it was against Federal Law to ban radar detectors.

Anyways, my average hwy speed is about 75-80mph normally but, I don't consider that to be fast. To the contrary, most speed limits are not adapted to today's highways nor today's cars.

IMO, speed limits should be somewhat flexible with traffic and/or road conditions, with a maximum speed of 85mph on major highways during ideal conditions.

Peace.

I can vouche for scopium; with the exception of paint chips, I do experience the hesitation and my MAF sensor went bad already.

Yeah CT sucks, especially when you heading back to boston from Foxwoods, its like the cops know when you are speeding.

boston has some fast maxima drivers. dunno if they want to get a ticekt or just because we love that power in a "FAMILY CAR"

I don't know about anyone else but I always drive my Max fast here in the Carolinas but I'm not always racing nor looking to race but somehow some ricer is always trying to pick a drag.

I enjoy going faster than the normal speed limit because it seems 55 & 65 are just too slow and not moving at all in a car as smooth as the Max.

When I had the 4th gen my average highway speed was 80. With the 5th it's more like 90. Just can't help it. 3.5 Rulz!

Don't underestimate Chicago Maxima owners. Even with IL State Troopers in Z28s and Mustangs with dual firing radar (some with Lidar), Cook County Sherrifs with Stalkers, and Chicago Police with Lidar, most of us are ripping between 75-90 easily.

In the case of IL, Radar Detectors are illegal in commercial vehicles only.
