Hello. I wanted to get a new car, and the maxima really cought my eye.

Please excuse my ignornace as i am not as smart when it comes to cars as some guru's here.

I like the 2002 maxima, because the headlights look so nice. They kind of remind me of the new lexus headlights. I wanted to buy a maxima towards the end of the year, last 2 weeks in december because I hear you can get good deals.

looking at a GLe or what ever model somes with the leather , because I wanted leather. About how much should I be paying for a 2002 maxima GLE, with say 20,000 miles or so?

also, the 2000 maxima is cheaper, but it doesnt have to cool headlights! Can I buy a 2000 maxima and put the 2002 style headlights on it? It might sound stupid, but what is HID? I think it has something to do with headlights, but again, I am not sure. I really like the head lights on the maxima, they look so nice. but if i can get a 2000 maxima and put the headlights on it, I will save money. remeber, I am stupid when it comes hooking up cars, so please take it easy on me. thanks

Yes, you can put 2002 lights on a 2000! Also try search!!! But the 2002 lights are a big problem in NY & NJ, they get stolen all the time. Some people had their lights stolen like 5 times!!!!!!!!!
