I'm driving down the road and voi-la... the airbag light shines in my face. I figure - no problem, I've reset it before! I pull over, grab a screwdriver and reset the ECU... but I notice that the air bag is now throwing an 0201 code. I know the CEL code for 0201 - Ignition Signal Circuit but for the Air bag??? Am I seeing things or do I have to go to a dealer? I hope not 'cause I hate paying those thieves!

 

It's probably the Spiral Cable $250.00 + It connects the airbag harness to the ECU along with the audio controls and cruise. It's encased in a circular switch- you could do it your self just buy an alldata.com subscription...and disco the battery for 1/2 before going near that airbag. It is covered under the 5/60 though. I know because I am having problems with my stereo controls..on the wheel. Already took it apart..cake...good luck
