Greddy Evo Impression

Finally got it installed at a shop. Sounds sweet when u start the car. It is a little louder than i thought but acceptable. Looks nice but it hangs down lower than the oem muffler and can be bottomed out (my dad speed thru a bump and bottomed out...left a few dents and scratches....arrrggghhhh!!!!). It seems like i lost some snappiness on the acceleration...low-end torque? Mid-range still lags (2k-3k rpm)...but after that it hauls.

Overall I love my Greddy Evo, but I also seemed to have lost a little low end torque. Please, no one say that it was due to loss of backpressure. (Quicksilver and maximaman777, prepare to intervene)

i love mine.....and you wont complain about how loud it is if you heard the powertech warped speed set up i had on my 03 for 6 months....now that i have the greddy...i swear it sounds almost like stock to me.....its that much of a differance over what i had....
i lost power verses the other exhaust to....i think the greddy is not a good pipe down low...i definatly notice a differance

yes we did lost some low-end power but gained some on the high end, it seems that it revs thru the higher rpm faster (3k and beyond)...i guess to really take advantage of it we all have to get the TS ecu...i bet we r running lean right now.

you should reset the computer...search for the thread on how to do it...it will get rid of the lagging hesitation before 3,000 RPM...i had the same problem...and after reseting the computer...the hesitation is gone
