i hate the orange

anyone figure out how to get the orange out of their HIDS with out taking the bad boy apart?

I had this idea to take the lens out in the past without taking the headlights apart....

Theoretically, you could take a screwdriver or some device like that and pop the lens out into the headlight housing. Once it is out, then the difficult part would begin.

You would need some way to break the orange lens apart into little enough pieces that you would be able to shake the lens out of the headlight.

I was gonna try to do this myself, but I ended up wanting to paint my headlight housing black, so I just took the whole thing apart, cleared them out and painted the housing black.

You would have to use some type of magic, if you don't want to take them apart...
