Bye Maxima :(

Hey fellow max enthusiasts! A couple weeks ago, my max was T-boned and totaled from a teenage girl running a red light. I'm doing ok aside from a couple scratches/bruises. I'm now driving around a 00 Accord for the time being until I have enough saved for hopefully another 5th gen, this time a 2k2-2k3. I'll check up on this site from time-to-time and help out with questions.

I'm glad you're ok. Good luck and hopefully you can get a new 02/03 max.

I'm with the others on your next car. Get a 6 speed 2k3....... or an M5 if you could afford it.

I'm sorry to hear about your accident. I'm glad you're ok.

Here's something ironic: I remember a couple of years ago (before I had my Max) when I was sporting my 99 Accord and you had your Max, I would debate you (and others) about the advantages of the TL/Accord V6 over the 5G Max on Maxima.org and the Acura forums. Now I have the Max and you have the Accord. Crazy, huh?!? How do you like the Accord? Nice ergonomics, huh?

Good luck in getting the 2K2/3. Hopefully, you can get a 6sp with Navi for a good deal; Lord knows I wish I could pull trade off now. (IMO, I don't see the big difference between a loaded SE and a GLE Maxima-exc for the 6sp)

Peace.
