Wheel hop fix???
I have a Supercharged 2000 SE that has wicked wheel hop in first and second. Has anyone experienced this and if so what is the fix? I'm considering pu motor mounts, but only if they improve the hop...

I set AGX's to 4 and it helped, but problem still exists. Being compounded by Unorthodox 4 puck unsprung clutch. Also concidering changing to ground control and putting my Tokico's back in.
I will check out the thread. Thanks.
Wheel hop is when the front wheels bounce (or rear wheels in RWD) during heavy acceleration versus hooking up, or breaking loose.

To at least help wheel hop a bit on the s/c, you NEED harder motor mounts like what PlaceRacing offers. Otherwise the engine/tranny shifts visiciously and the wheel hop just gets worse.
When I didnt put the motor mounts in, I within the first week broke the rear and then the front motor mount with the turbo. I highly recommend it before doing KYB AGXs.

Took the Max for a drive with AGX set at 4 in the front and 8 in the rear. The car handles a lot better, but still hops like crazy! I will order the engine mounts but they won't be installed until after SEMA.
Wheel hop will be eliminated!!!!
I will keep you posted.

Buy Place Racing motor mounts, you want regret it. I did and my wheel hop is gone, but be ready for the car to have a little bit of a vibration though at idle and for the steering wheel to shake at start up.
