Throttle Body/MAF Upgrade

Hi guys, new to the forum, and new to Maxima mods. I have done a little searching and so far have not turned up anything in regards to larger throttle bodies, or Mass Air Flow sensors. Is this something that cannot be modified on a Nissan? Just seems like it would compliment a cold air intake, and cat back exhaust system really well. That was always the first thing I would do on my late model Mustangs to get more power.

Great forum by the way.

2k2+ I doubt it... you guys all have electronic throttle bodies, dunno how it would work.
For 2k-2k1 someone's posted the possibility of using a Pathfinder throttle body...

Yeah on a Mustang it is an issue. On the maxima I think it is much less so. Been reading most of the posts for the last 9 months and i dont think it has come up.
And it is drive by wire, no throttle cable, motorized butterfly! So about the only option you would have anyway is to find someone who bores your existing one oversize.

I don't see much of an advantage without FI on the vehicle.

Your right the TB on a Mustang works but still not much until you really begin to pump some air through the engine.
