Corners rewire w/ LEDs
Corners rewire w/ LEDs
I just bought some LEDs to install with the clear corners on my 2000. Now i was looking into the sidemarker rewire to make them blink with your front/rear blinkers. And a friend of mine said that hes pretty sure that the LEDs will light up a little faster than the front/rear turn signal bulbs; therefore, the timing of the lights blinking would be off. So does anyone here have the sidemarker rewire with LEDs in their corners and have this problem at all? Or even if you have any info whether a problem with the timing of the front/rear blinkers and the sidemakers LEDs could occur.

Your friend is correct. LED's draw less power than regular bulbs, therefore your car will think you have a blown bulb, and they will blink like the ricers do... I tried replacing my turn signal bubls in my tailights with LEDS and thats what happened .
I have amber led's in my clear front flashing corners and they work fine.
I know that LED's light faster (by miliseconds). But knowing that, and looking for that, you barely notice it. They also extinguish very slightly faster. No big deal, if you did not know, you would not notice.
