Sorry the server crashed and the message erased. Check it out. I have a custom 2.5" cat-back exhaust (no resonator). Initially it sounded good, but now that it has broken in, and is too loud for my taste. I ordered a PT 1011 muffler today, but still would like a resonator to quiet down my new set-up. There are only 2 muffler shops here in Minot North Dakota. Neither carry resonators. Only glass-packs. They said they're pretty much the same as a resonator, is this true? Sounds kinda weird to me. I'd feel better off getting a magnaflow resonator around 18-20" to dampen the sound and still keep a suttle growl (sleeper look/sound until I step on it). Any advice would be greatly appreciated and possibly an internet source for me to purchase the resonator since this town is limited.

 

stick with the magnaflo resonator. it will quiet things down a lot.
