getting an 02 GLE

well after selling my truck ive decided to get an 02 GLE in gunmetal gray (or whatever the technical name is) i just read the guy with the EVO's post and it didnt change my mind a bit on getting one. my dad has an 03 GLE, and my mom has an I35. niether have has any problems to date, over the fuew associated problems that plague the maxima i dont think they are significant.
wind nioise= turn radio up! (try driving a truck with swampers, who cares about noise)
radio skip= excuse to upgrade to DVD/CD player
tires=umm who ever likes stock tires on any vechicle!?!?
handling= going from driving a 4x4 the maxima handles like a sports car.
paint chips= many many coats of wax!?!
but only other cars that are in the field or above are the acura TL (TERIBLE tranny's) toyota camary (nice car but BORING and underpowered) and Honda accord(id be the 1000000 person to have one) sorry about the long post, one ore thing can you get a maxima certified used? [FONT=Arial]

My only recommendation would be to get an SE, because it's painful to me personally knowing that you'll be getting an auto tranny, but otherwise enjoy it The EVO and max are really in totally different classes. One is fast as heck, and the other is merely fast. One looks like you drive a low-end car with mods thrown in to it, and the other looks classy

Good choice, you will absolutely love the car. The gripes that guy had are not all common problems. It's not like every max is plauged with those problems. Knock on wood, but after one year, I am trouble free. I had the lack of power for autos TSB done, and that's about it.

IMO - Go for an RSB (and consider an FSTB at the same time) before you start moddin' the exhaust. Congrats on your decision.
