Clunk clunk clunk...Broken motor mount?

Under acceleration I get an initial clunk. Nothing in reverse.

What do you think?

I get this clunk too!! Its not multiple though. It happens just as you accelerate. It sounds like somehting is going to break or drop out soon. Any help out there?

thanks.

I am 90% sure it is the tranny/motor mount. I think it may have been from the rev limiter interfering with the 2nd gear shift. Same thing as going from 1st to second in a manual but between shifts putting the clutch in and reving the car to redline as you are coasting then dropping the clutch into second gear.

I'll let ya know the results of Nissans wonderful service, I am bringing the car in Friday.

My auto is "clacking". Prob is a motor or tranny mount. Seems to be getting worse as I can get it to happen during any hard acceleration, tho mostly while turning.....

Yours sounds more like a CV joint going bad.

I thought about that, but it does not happen under "normal" or "semi-spirited" driving conditions. At least right now, tho it does seem worse now.

I'll have to get it looked into, that's for sure....
