Try putting them in the ashtray/coin collector area. Mold/build a custom fiberglass gauge holder (panel contoured to match existing area) and mount them there. Wiring should be rather simple to get in there as well.

That would be tight; however, "molding fiberglass" = much custom work, at least for me.

You have nitrous. You need the gauges even more than a boosted car.

Seriously, Lithu, getting gauges for no good reason is pretty ricey. If you are running 10,000 watts, maybe a voltmeter would be necessary. But oil pressure and exhaust temp? Come on.....

Basically, if you have to actually brainstorm on what gauges you think you need, you really should not get them. Get some damn wheels......

Why do you care if its rice or not, if it looks good to you then go ahead and do it. After all its your car~

Voltmeters help with more than just seeing how cool it is to have 10,000 watts (which is far beyond ridiculous for anything daily driven). They help diagnose problems with drops in volts and such.. anyway, you have a point and I'm going to think it over (which is why I made this thread in the first place). As for wheels, wanna paypal me some green?

I think it would be pretty cool, but aside from the rice factor, what other gauges can I put in there that will be functional other than Oil and a Voltmeter? Thanks!
I have a triple pod on my car and it's not sc- or turbocharge(not yet) saving $25k for a built motor, trans. and a full T4. Anyway I have air/fuel ratio, Oil pressure, and fuel pressure. It's a good way to monitor your system. The only people that think it's ricey, is the one that don't know the different between rice and bean. They have their stuff installed for them- get my picture. Smack talked too much.

Donkey, several questions were asked about gauge placement. I think I may have some original locations for my gauges. Thought I would share. Now, if you could, go beat Jessica.
