coincidence? I put the in-cabin micro-air filters in both the Max and the PF... within 3-4 months, the fan motors started ticking pretty loudly on both. I just got the max blower replaced but I'm thinking of pulling the filters if its going to overwork the fan motors. I cant stand that ticking noise.

I believe there is a TSB for ticking fan motors. Perform a search and you'll probably find it, or post again asking specifically for ticking fan issues.

I did not think there was a correlation between the filter and the fan motor in the TSB. Perhaps there is.

I've had my filter in for close to 6 months and my fan is quiet.

yes...

I know theres a TSB.. Thats how I got the ticking fixed. But I'm just thinking of pulling the filters because it seems to have made the ticking worse. and now it does it on the PF.
