No, it's not directed at you. I'm just saying that in general, this board has people on it that seem to think they've got knowledge about how the automobile works, but when they open up their mouths nothing but crap and bs comes out. I'm not saying that I know everything thing because I surely don't. I'm just giving my 2 cents.

Subscribing

Still think we should make some guesses on the outcome, just for fun. If these headers are making the power they should be my guess is 237 hp.

I "think" he was already at the 220 range before the headers, but then again, I've seen so many dyno graphs lately that it could have been someone elses...

Unfortunately no, none of those are even remotely close to me. We do have a dyno at the college that I go to. But, it's broke right now and they're waiting on a tech to get over here and fix it.

That would put him over the 280 crank HP mark...which would be very good, IMHO.

Also, the dyno has been rescheduled for around 3 pm (EST) do to a commitment conflict Will has...

237whp is what the Altima put out with similiar mods (hotshot headers and full exhaust) so it should be possible.

Id say with all my mods apexi intake, high flow cat, greddy evo, and stillen headers i should have about 300 at the crank. Because stock crank hp is 255. If i dont yet the underdrive racing pulley will get me their when i install it. Id say a little more then 237 at the wheels now, but i cant say crap because i havnt dynoed yet.

What Quicksilver is saying is that Nissan over rated our HP figures. Dyno's have shown that we actually have 240-245 HP.

I could be wrong but is'nt the Maxima 255 and the altima 245.
Glen chill out a bit. you could be vindicated tomorrow. Your input was appreciated by many. These header and ypipe threads are what many of us are looking for everyday.

Oh sorry you are talking real not advertized.
It should be illegal to lie, but that is what much of marketing and advertisement is all about.
Is that one prediction of 237.
being the eternal optimist i will guess 239

1/4 mile times

I never posted the slip becuase I do not have a scanner. However I just took a quick pic using my phone...I was on the right side

Link to slip

My times were 2 tenths better than my best however that was with the same mods and the gutted pre-cats. Not too many people here have gutted precats. So when my car had intake, 2.5 exhaust, straight pipe, rvm pulley and timing advance i was running consistent 14.7s. So I think it is safe to say these headers will give others an average of about 4 tenths in their 1/4 time time. I agree my car was running slow (before headers) with all those mods but I ran those numbers over 10 times. And for whoever asked ALL runs were done in 65 degree weather.
