Maxima saved itself

Well as most of you who live in philly and NJ might know how bad it rain last night. Well I was at work and I parked my car in parking lot of my job, but when I came out to my car around 7:00pm. I notice that my car was under water, the car was on kind of like an incline and I was facing out. I had to walk through some deep water to get in my car it came up to almost my knee. Now if I would have been to quick to mod and lowered my car it would have been gone. Good think the Max sits so high ( What most of you hate about the Max), The water was at the bottom of the trunk but only came to half of the rim in the front. So none of the engine was wet (thank god). If I would have had my old car which was a malibu 98 with 15" wheels and sat low I would have had to put a R.I.P. sign next to it. I But I don't know if my muffler was under water I didn't think about it until I got home, would it hurt anything if it was? Should I have it checked out at the dealer?

Ya lucked out.
If any trunk or interior stuff got saturated, rip it out and or get a whole bunch of fans and heaters going so it does not mold or mildew.

Your muffler should be fine just let it run to dry out any water that might have gotten in there. Once when I was in college I went out and got DRUNK and the chick that drove me home left the sunroof open and the drivers door open and later that night there was a DOWNPOUR that left about 5 inches of water in my car. That sucked! I can laugh about it now though it wasn't funny then. Luck you.
