Finished installing Angel Eye foglights - NOTE to all
Before i installed them - Hella Optilux 2500 angel eye foglights, i drew up a schematic so that i can retain the factory fog light switch that came with my maxima.
You do not need to install a separate switch, basically how it works is as follows.
Parking lights - Headlights must be on.
Factory Fog light switch off = Angel eyes ON/Foglights OFF
Factory Fog light switch ON = Angel eyes OFF/Foglights ON
Flash to pass w/foglight switch on = Angle eyes OFF/Foglights ON
then angel eyes ON/foglights off (looks cool!)
What you need is TWO relays.. and a bit of patiences, but now my car is all factory switched, and looks great..
As a bonus, the foglights are 500% better than stock, and infact out shine my HID's!!

I think they look good. Although I'd like to see a full shot of the front of the car in the day.
I just installed them this past sunday..
No worries about water, because the Hella lights are actually very well designed...
As for the gaps, it really looks good, much better than stock... the gaps are very even around the circle so it looks perfect...
Besides, the factory foglights don't do anything for me interms of lighting.. These lights shine brigher than my HID's, and i am very happy with them.... And at $100 CDN, its way cheaper replacement over the crappy Nissan ones that i have broken manytimes.

I have been considering these because: they're cheaper than replacement OEM foglights & they look cool at night. But that gap is so huge in the day...not sure if I could live with that...
Good work though!

The gap is much smaller on the 2000-2001. They fit flush. I am about to install mine any hints on making the install look clean and not ghetto rigged? Also, how do I get the switch panel off to put the switch in?
