Subject: Maxima 5th gen skyline style bodykit question!!!

Hi!,

I'd like to have news on a bodykit for Nissan Maxima 5th
gemeration(2000-2001 and 2002-2003)(much the same)!!

A guy (nickname: OnlineShowOff)(trungpham@onlineshowoff.com) say to us
(maxima.org members) that maybe you were planning on doing this kit and just
want to know if there's really interrest on those bodykit!!

The photoshoped picture of those 2 bodykit(just one, wichever would be done)
can be found on the maxima.org forums.:
http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?t
=252695&page=1&pp=30

As you can see if you read all the 6 page of reply on this thread plenty off
people are interested in this kyt myself include!! The appreciation is on
bothare great but IMO the right one would be best(more skylinish then the
other, whatever!)

The huy said that you could have one been done un polyurethane(cause
FiberGlass really sucks IMO). I think that you should(if you ever do it,
have to version of it: One with the stock side marker lense socket and
hidden fog light socket and the other whitout it!!

If you would be doing it please give us some news and the price that you're
prepared to sold it afterward cause many Org members begin to be kinda tired
of having no news since a long time!!!

Thanks a lot!!

Patrick Gagnon

And the Answer:

at this time we are looking to get a loaner so we can start working on it.
I wonder where you located or if you have a friend in southern california so
we can borrow the car.
please let us know, thanks

So if anybody is ready to let his car to Versus they're gonna make it!

I would have surely let mine but Quebec is quite Far form Southern California!!!

If anybody interrested e-mail them or just call them!! you can the info on their site at http://www.versusmotorsport.com in the contact section!!!

Hope they can do it quick!!!!!

Keep in mind that the shop will probably need the loaner car for a month. This is what's keeping me from starting a GD on this myself. I know I could get it done at Andy's Autosport, but I'd need 10 people to put money down and I would be out of a car for a month.

Someone make this happen. I got a messed up bumper on my car right now and I'm waiting for a decent bumper replacement to come out. Anyone post this in the West Coast forum?

Where in SoCal is it? I'm interested and would be willing to loan them my car for two months if they'll throw on the kit for free. Who do I get in contact with? Let me know. Thanks.

I would hope that they don't mess with the headlights... The foglights look like they would need a new housing tho.

Isn't there a width difference between the 2k/2k1 and 2k2/2k3 front bumpers? I thought that was the reason the Stillen Aero lip for the 2k/2k1 wouldn't fit the 2k2/2k3.

The stillen Aero kit won't fit cause of the foglight housing and 2K2-2K3 have a only one big mouth , 2K-2K1 two smaller mouth wich the Aero kit mold on to!!

Width and everything else is suppose to fit!!

For the one's interrested: E-mail --> dealerinfo@versusmotorsports.com

And says them you are interrested in loaning your car for the bodykit, their answer are fast in most case!!

If Freight wouldn't be that much mine would be already there!!

I emailed them. Car is loaned for 2months, kit is free, but you have to paint it. They said they're going to design it like the 95 Maxima Skyline Evo III body kit that's on their site. The thing is, I couldn't find it. Does it look the same as the photoshopped version on the right? If anyone can link the picture here of the car Versus is referring to, I'd appreciate it.

Woooo!!

Not what I was hopping!!

Without the Z3 style on the side and the "hidious" foglight maybe but a bit too much 4th Gen CustomMaxima bodykit IMO!!

The photoshopped one is the best!!!
