Wheels ballast is missing....

My car is acting funny lately. When I am going 60+ car shakes and changes lanes by itself. Went to Nissan. They said everything is fine and that I don't need an alignment. Now I checked the car myself and found out that the ballast that I had on the inside of the rim is missing. Is it the cause of the car shaking and how to fix it.

What is a ballast? are you talking about the weights they use to balance the rims w/ the tires? Not all rims have those weights, depending on how well the tires balance out... But i'm not too sure what you mean by balast on the rims...

Yeah, loosing a wheel weight can cause big time shaking. Never heard of the unwanted lane changes though.

The weights are on the inside of the rim, I drove for a short time after I put new tires and the car shook like hell untill I the tires balanced specifically around 45+MPH. I would recommend a high-speed wheel balancing, it should be around $50 or less.
