How often do we perform maintence?

How often do we perform maintence?
I'm not talking about oil change or rotating tires, those I know but what about the following?
1. Radiator Flush and fill new coolants
2. Change spark plugs
3. Tranny flush, and fill new tranny fluid (manual trans.)
4. Drain brake fluid and replace new fluid
5. Power Steer, just fill to top right?
Anything I missed? Thanks for helps~
P.S. Please delete the other "blank" thread, the server went laggy and killed it.

Got my radiator flush @ 25K as recommended by my mecanic- the old coolant was foul looking(no longer protectant)
My tranny flush was done @ 15K
Everything else can be topped off I believe @ interval oil changes

let's say 25k is good for radiator flush. is there a time limitation as well, i'm only at ~16k and i've had the car 1.5 years. i don't drive it a lot. so me reaching 25k may take about another 1-2 years. is it suggested i do that based on a time interval, rather than mileage?
and i know this may be off topic, but also goes along with maint. my mom's CRV. we've had it now for 4 months and we have ~1800 miles. hardly drive it.. is there a limit to how long the oil stays in the car. should i wait till the 3,000 mile mark, which may take another 4 months, totalling 8 months, or should i change it soon, even if it doesn't hit the 3,000 mile mark.

i believe the more you drive the -friction is what
breaks down the oil, as far as the coolant i'd imagine would be relative to the oil issue because
engine coolant is circulated throughout the engine
as the car is running/driven
But u can do make your own guidelines as to when u desire to change it- it can only be beneficial
For instance my grandfather has a '95 GLE - that he bought in '95 and he's now retired in Florida
and it has only 29K miles and he insists on changing
his synthetic Mobil 1 every 1500 miles-
car rides brand spankin' new

Thanks for comments, anymore? Base on what you guys mentioned above, it seems like you have to make your own judgement on when to change these things, there's no "acutally" guideline that tells you when to do these things?

tranny, preferably every 30K miles (tranny fluid isn't time-based as much as temperature-based... high temperature operation is what breaks down tranny fluid
brake fluid, every 25-30K miles or 2 years is a best bet... brake fluid is more time-based, so if you're paranoid you can change it once a year, but once every 2 years should be sufficient. Brake fluid goes bad over time when water seeps into the system by various means (brake hoses, etc.). Old brake fluid usually works fine, except its boiling point is drastically reduced, thus increasing the probability of boiling (very, very bad... results in almost no braking performance)

I think it depends on what conditions you drive in. If you do a lot of stop & go, shorts trips, cold weather starts, etc...then I would probably change it around 4 or 5 months. Simply because harder driving reduces the oil's ability to protect.

There are 4 things that I don't see other than the regular oil change:
1. Belts
2. Hoses
3. Brakes (pads/rotor turning and replacement)
4. Battery
I am a maintenece freak!
edit: what about pcv and egr valves? cleaning out the TB and what about AIR FILTER replacement. Thats all I can think of.. I bought my car in june with 40K miles and have swapped out the oil with Mobil 1 full syth (2 times) and drain and fill the auto (2 times) -mobil 1 ATF, will be changing my plugs, belts, hoses, coolant, brake fluid, Tranny drop and fill, engine oil change, new air filter (K&N cone with outerwear), new rotors w/ pads, tire rotation, a new battery, PS fluid change, budget y-pipe, High flow cat, FSTB, RSB, UDP, and a 12 pack of beer for my maintenence. A weekend of fun!
