Just installed a y-pipe and now i've got a vibration... HELP!

Just installed a warpspeed y-pipe and it went on ok. At idle there it's fine but once I step on the gas there is a vibration around the auto shifter. Can anyone help me figure out what to do. Thanks in advance for any thoughts.

you have to remove that i had the exact same problem with my ypipe, the pipe hangs a lil bit lower which caused the midpipe to hit the black bar

It's actually a cross beam that has 8 bolts I believe. You can also try using washers on each bolt as spacers. It depends how close your pipe is under WOT since the engine torques in the engine bay and moves the whole damn exhaust.

I also had this problem. You have to remove that black brace, and you may also have to adjust the bracket that goes to the rubber hanger..

It was both of the supprot brackets that were banging, I had to rearrange the POS hanger that came with the y-pipe ( not sure how long that will last) I used washers to add some clearance on the 8 bolt front brace ( it looks pretty beefy and I thought I should try to keep it on) Removed the rear support brace, for now (will work on that later) I'm going to make my own support hanger later. All in all I'm pleased with the power, very smooth and responsive. Thanks for all the help guys, were lucky to have this type of forum to help each other out in times of need

I had same problem even after lowering cross member 1/2 inch. Ended up selling the pos because I lost midrange h.p. with y pipe.
