Dark tint yet visible

Hello,

What is the darkest tint you can put in the back and still be able to see/backup at night?

Thanks,

Mike

oppinions vary, but probably 20%. Search function would be perfect for this question

I agree. I had 20% on my max for about 2 years- now I have 5%. 5% was a little hard the first 2-3 days that I had it, but now that I am used to it its actually not so bad.

anything under 20 and you are pushing it.. both visually and legally unless your state is one of the few that do not limit tint usage. personally if headlights bother you 5% is great, but if you do back alley driving or parking then it's not such a good idea.

i have limo tint (5%) all around, and nothing on the front window. I can see perfect when i back up night or day. The only problem i have is when turning in the night with the windows up, you pretty much have to roll the window down or jus go really slow cuz u cant see ****. Look, you could always jus have the 2 front windows retinted, trust me if u go to light your going to regret it, do it right the first time.

i have 5% and it is doable. I do wish my reverse lights were brighter, but it works great for me and nothing looks better than limo tint.

I have 20% on my back window and backing out of dark driveways can be difficult but I got use to it. (Just roll down your window and look back if you have trouble seeing. And backup slowly.)
