Eurolites H4 and H3 bulbs...WOW, really bright!!

I just wanted to pass some good information to you guys if you're looking for a real bright "white" output, but don't want to drop alot of money on a set of PIAA's. I had installed these set of bulbs in my headlights and fogs ever since I had bought the car a few months ago, and let me tell you...these are really bright!! It upsets the oncoming traffic, though, because they flash me all the time thinking I have my high beams on! (Oh, well.) I highly recommend these if you want that bright "white" look. I think these farpass the Silverstars and Philip brands. Anybody else have these on their Max, and had great experiences with these?

Hmm... That is an interesting opinion. I installed Eurolites H3 for my fogs and couldn't notice a difference. I asked a few people what they thought, one bulb being stock and the other being the euro, and they couldn't tell a difference.

No, they are stock wattage. I had them in my car for about 5 months now without any problems. I found the bulbs at Circuit City. The fogs were about $30.00 for a pair, and the headlight bulbs were about $5.00-$10.00 more. I believe Crutchfield.com sells these also. I had seen them on Ebay, too.

Sylvania SilverStar 9003ST ($40/pair @ Advance Auto Parts) also look nice... I popped in a pair last night, the headlights look very white, and the projected beam looks like stock plus the addition of a slight blue tone...

Polarg's H3's in fogs....$30 and work very good! Close to my HID's, but i'm thinking if my foglight housings were different texture the beam would be brighter. i'm happy! I'll see if i take new pics this weekend after i install my new pedals.

Yeah, I seen these on Ebay all the time but wasn't sure about their performance. Because of their inexpeinsive price, I was skeptical of other people's experiences with them. Are they stock wattage or high wattage?

Are these Eurolight Fusions (SB's), Super Plasma's (DP's), or the XB or LXC series?

Fusions are non-DOT approved and a high-white (very slight blue)
Super Plasma (DP's) are DOT approved and a purple color
Super Plasma (XB's) are Xenon Crystals @ 4100 kelvin
XLC's are supposed to match "sparkle and clarity of HID bulbs...

I'm running the Fusions for high beams and have had them for 8 months or so. They are VERY bright. The only issue I have with them are that they are so bright they actually have an "X" pattern in the beam caused by the metal cover over the bulbs in the headlight housing. I have also been running the Fusions in my GF's Cougar (both high and low beam bulbs) for appx 8 months with no issues. These really improved the light output of the quasi-projectors that car has...

From a price standpoint, I would suggest shopping around. When doing the Cougar, I purchased two sets of Fusions (high and low pair) along with a set of PIAA SP wedge bulbs for my Max. Total with shipping was less than $60 for 3 sets of bulbs. (No, I don't remember who I ordered them from).

Here's their catalog:

I'm not big on spending alot for bulbs either. They blow out just like any other. I'm on my second set. The last set cost only $20. Bright as hell too. Don't remember the brand off hand. I got them at a shop called J & J Automotive in Baltimore.
