I believe I found the source of the problem with condensation forming in the rear clears. Mine left one only gives me problems.

I pulled it off today, and as I moved it around, upside-down, etc, I noticed there was more than condensation. Water had collected in there and it was sloshing around.

I moved it around on all ends until I felt some water leak out. It was where the housing and the lens comes together around the BIG end.

I am trying to dry it out. I'm going to use the sealant I purchased for my front clear project, which isn't going to happen since I ordered some from AutoDynamic.

I am thinking about running a small amount around the entire lense where the housing meets the lense. It should not hurt anything since this part is not visible from the exterior of the car.

I chipped the lense when I took it off the car.

BTW How...

do you get the rear clears out without breaking those fragile pieces of plastic? When I took out the stock ones I broke one side, so I fear taking them off.

Just make sure you don't force it out too hard or else... *CRACK* I can take the markers out in about 2 seconds, so if anyone is missing their markers...

I shook the water out, but condensation, small traces, still formed. It is almost like a film.

I tried baking it in the oven at low temperature like a baked potato, in aluminum foil. That got rid of some of it. It still comes back.

I baked it extra long and most went away. I sealed it where it was leaky and re-installed it. Maybe one day the moisture will just evaporate.
