Ignition coils

Anyone make aftermarket coils for 2000-2001? Is there a way to retrofit any aftermarket coils to fit our cars?

I checked out some aftermarket coils. There is no direct replacement. But I was thinking if there is a way to use MSD coils. Mount coils somewhere in the engine bay and run spurk plug wires to plugs. is this possible or i'm just smoking reefer?

Hell with Nissan coils!

I just happened to contact MSD today and asked them if they make coils for the Maxima, and if they didn't if they know someone who does. They said they know of no aftermarket coils for the Max! So...were stuck with the ones Nissan makes which I don't trust since so many have had problems.
