Why would you call me a "fool?" You sound like you speak for all 5th Gen owners. They are some of us that might like dual exhaust. If there is a demand for the exhaust system, they will have to make a rear bumper for the 5th Gen.

Do you think the dual exhaust looks "ricey" on the 350Z and the Altima 3.5?

My take on the dual-exhaust (or quad as in the case of the '04).

They do look nice and aggressive, but the form factor of the 5th gen is too narrow to make the dual/quad tips look aggressive enough. I've seen some 5th and 4th gens with such set-up and most of the time they're too close to each other.

If someone were to do this, i suggest moving them farther from each other (custom-job on both the OEM muffler placement and the additional pipe) just to give it a better look.

I think that any car that runs duals with an H pipe or with the muffler is stupid.
Ture duals from the block back, that's another story...

What about the 350Z? I'm not that fond of the Altima myself. I liked the old Stanza body before they replaced it with the Altima.

Thanks! I like the sounds of the car more everyday. Once I get some money back from this year tax, hopefully. I'll gonna get the y-pipe and free-flow cat to complete the exhaust system. Then maybe updating my ECU w/Technosquare. Can't wait! =)

Ingredients for a 14.4 pass= Injen cai, UR pulley, exhaust, power brake at about 2500-2800 rpm. Can't wait til track reopens to see what it will do with the TS ecu upgrade & hopefully the HOT SHOT header will make some power.

I would wait for the Hot Shot headers. Y pipes don't make as much h.p. on the 02-03 as the 00-01. + you will have fitment issues like the y pipe hanging too low and banging against the subrame connector like it did me. I took mine off and sold it because of that and the fact I lost all kinds of mid range h.p. -4to -6 h.p. until 5000 rpm. just my $.02

I'm not sure what the deal is/was with the Warpspeed Y pipe but the Cattman fits fine and definitely makes power. It's one of my favorite mods so far.

Personally, I think dual/quad exhaust looks good on sports cars, especially classic sports cars, but a little bit ricey on large sedans (except maybe somthing like a previoous-body-style Impala SS). I like the twin tips on one side....it strikes a nice balance between looking classy and looking performance....

That said, can't wait to get the Frankencar exahust, although I may have to settle for some 3" Magnaflow tips until the $$ is available....can't stand the stock 2k tips with the wraparound thingy.... in my opinion, the one bad exterior stylng part of the 2k....
