Thank God for heated steering wheel

I was outside for 6+ hours yesterday watching a hockey game in -20C (-5 F) weather. The heated steering wheel (along with the heated seats) is by far the best feature in the max. Up until now I thought it was a nice feature, but props to Nissan for making it standard. Anyone know of any other cars this feature is available on (I know 5 series BMWs)?

The heated steering wheel/seats are standard? I have a 02 SE and I dont have them. There are many other cars that have this feature as well, I'm sure.

Sorry. Canadian spec SEs. So what other cars have them? Honda, VW, any GMs? Or is it just MB, BMW...?

I think the heated steering wheels/seats are standard if you have the meridian package.

Some, if not all, of the more luxurious cars have heated steering wheel/seats. Lexus, MB, BMW and Infiniti all have them. Honda, Mazda, Subaru and others will have them as options/standard in the future.

Its part of the Meridian package here in the US. Nowadays its available on more cars than before. I have never ben with the Max in that cold a day, but I have used it a few times and its well worth it

Down in alabama i can't see having much use for heated seats, steering wheel, or mirrors (the last a little when it's foggy on the glass). I do remember many car trips with frozen hands though in Canada and once the engine got warm enough I'd spend more time with my hands in front of the vents than on the steering wheel

When the temp is not too cold (around 40 degrees) and you put on the heated steering wheel feature, you'd wish that you didn't do that because the wheel gets way too hot at that temp.

I could not find one Volvo, Saab, Lexus or Acura that has a heated steering wheel. It is not available on C class MBs and is optional on E class. Not available on any 3 series BMW, but is standard on 5 series and X5. The only Infiniti that appears to have it is the I35 (no surprise). Any the only VW that it is available on is the V8 Toureg. It does not appear that they 'all' have it.

We've been seeing highs of 44 degrees here in Seattle lately...
Even though I had to get the Blose system to get the Meridian, it's worth it at times like this!
