Foglight Rewire Instructions??

The how-to in the FAQS don't work and the search is disabled. Anyone have a how-to? I just need to rewire them so they go on with my clearance lights.

open the relay box under the hood, cut the blu/yellow wire under the fog relay, connect the end comming from the relay to the green wire on the parking light.

nope, those are 2 diff sources of power.

You are powering corners off of turn signal. He will power his fogs from parking light.

I just installed the clear brake led and re-wired my fogs yesterday, it was a b**ch to take off the fuse box. Once you take off the box it's easy.

Just a tiny point here. My 03 wire was (99% sure) blue silver. It could be that the 02 was blue yellow for all I know.

I would suggest you purchase a 10mm bolt and unscrew the 2 screws that holds it to the frame to make it easier.

fog light rewire

Hey guys with the fog light rewire, do you still have the option to not turn it on or does it come on automatically with the parking lights?

You still have the option of turning it on independently of the parking lights.

You still can't get them on with the high beams, though... upon initial inspection of the schematics I think it's possible, but would require removing the lighting/turn signal switch arm from the steering column, taking it apart and doing some internal rewiring... not sure how hard that'll be. This is so you can use the stock foglight switch to keep the foglights on with the highbeams on... if you don't want to go through all that trouble, you could install a new foglight switch instead... but it wouldn't be as nice

The location is the same, however, the wire color is different.

question. What green wire on the parking light? The one directly behind the bulb? Do I wire it to both left and right?

yes, the green wire that is directly behind the bulb.
I just re-wired my fogs and I love the look. Should have done this months ago! One weird thing tho - i hooked the green wire up to the wrong end of the fog relay wire at first and I got 1 (yes 1) HID low beam to go on along with the corner lights, but of course no fogs. It was strange. Hooked it up right immediatly after and everyhting was fine, HIDs worked, High beams, corners, everything all set so I was happy no fuses blew or worse.

I would suggest it so you don't blow some fuses accidently.
