Where to buy TEIN cheap ?

Well I blew my right front KONI shock the 2nd time in a year period and I'm getting fed up with it. So I'm looking to buy the TEIN coilover shock setup, but I can't seem to find a good place that sells em cheap. I looked into JIC Magics but I just bought alot of new stuff for the car and 1900 bux is not something I have right now to throw around. Anyone know where to buy the TEIN setup cheap ? I know every imaginable SR20 website, but other than www.custommaxima.com I dunno of any other Maxima shops out there. HELP ?!??! I am ready to buy RIGHT now.

Polo has indicated the Cattman/Sprint coilovers are awesome. I believe you can get them off Cattman's website. Try calling since I guess the webpage is not up-to-date. They should be cheaper then TEIN's basic set-up, probably with much better results. Peace_

What setup is nicer ? The Cattman or TEIN ? Also, I'm riding on KONI/GC setup right now, I'm limited in suspension travel, I am not a riceboy, I race my Maxima at diff tracks- from Drag, AUTOX to road racing... and I like my car sitting low in the front- hence my front shocks blow out EZ- QUESTION is, can I drop the TEIN 2.5" in the front and still have the suspension travel like I would with JIC MAGICs ? Or even Cattman ??? This is the deciding factor for me, Konis have a life time warranty so I can swap em out every 6mo, but I don't wanna blow up a set of TEINs in 6mo and have a 1000 dollar paper holder, know what I mean ?

1070 is not a bad deal I gotta contact them to find out if it will bottom out like my GC and Konis when dropped, or if the struts are modified that they are shorter than stock- if so I can keep my current ride height and not blow up shocks left and right like I had before- I need shocks every winter.

my say....i'm happy with my cattman/progress setup. i've never been more happier. rode on jic's, still happy with mine. have NOT ridden on tein's, so i cannot say which is better. i would be curious to know what the spring rates are for their setup and their max height/drop are for front/rear. not that i have any reason to change, i'm just curious to see what other companies are offering.

blackbird, you cannot compare GC's with any other true coilover setup, i'ts impossible. or rather, even the worst true coilover setup will beat the GC's. a true coilover system will have struts designed to handle the pressure of a low height car, where as NO aftermarket struts are (agx nor gr-2 nor koni). you lose a lot of travel, which does not give the strut enough time to absorb. it's the difference between linear and variable spring rate. linear = feels just as soft at highest height vs. lowest height. variable = depending on height, strut absorbtion reaction is different, causing a different feel.

i'll say it again, anyone who wants to ride in my car, and at least give a second opinion on how the cattman's/progress feel, more than welcome to. at least i'll have someone else give their yay/nay on it. i'm more than 100% sure that it'll be yay.

btw, i believe introd. is still 1250 for the cattman's.
