Raybestos rotors

Raybestos rotors
Replaced my 2000 Max's original rotors this past May with Raybestos including new Quiet Stop pads all the way around. Here I sit 12,000 miles later with both front rotors warped to hell. Thankfully the garage that installed them replaced both fronts free of charge. The other good news, Pads had only worn about 15%. I thought Raybestos was supposed to be way better than stock. Guess it can happen to any brand. At least Raybestos, I believe, have a lifetime warranty on the rotors, (according to the mechanic). Kinda scary that the Raybestos didnt last as long as the originals, (which were warped at around 20,000 miles, (replaced under warranty as well).

I have Raybestos rotors & QS pads myself, fronts AND rears have warped... fronts I got resurfaced (no problems thus far), rears I haven't done yet.
I'm thoroughly convinced the source of the problem is the rotors being too small for the application... or not dissipating heat properly. Keep in mind, others have had Brembo blanks warp as well.

Also of note: When I installed my new rotors & pads, during the final reassembly I installed my calipers, then applied to brake pedal to let the calipers adjust... and THEN installed the wheels.
After getting the front rotors resurfaced, I installed the calipers, then the wheels (torqued them as tight as I could with the car still lifted), dropped the car, torqued the lugnuts and THEN applied the brake pedal to let the calipers adjust. I'll see if that makes any difference on my fronts.
