Why is this guy posting the whole car. Wasn't he selling his headlights? It doesn't seem very clear but heck, $199 for the Max, I'm SOLD!, lol

I don't see why everyone is criticizing the car...it has a Stillen front bumper with the VIS carbon fiber hood and lowered...once people get more than a cherry bomb muffler and clear corners then they can criticize

"Steal" being the key word here. If I bought a brand new car, I would not have a need to sell the headlights from the old one. Sounds too good to be true for $200.

dang.....he got exact same set up as me.....I think the Max isn't too bad looking, it's just the color of the Max and with that setup doesn't look too agressive as mine.......

steal meaning cheap. I dont think he stole them headlights. I think his car is a 2002. I'm sure in 2 days, his bidding will be lot higher than $200

He could just be using the pic of the car to sell some "stolen" HIDs. We shall see how high the bidding goes. What would be the reason for selling the HIDs in your opinion?

I don't want to defend the guy...but there is also the possibility of him have a 2k or 2k1 and he got the HID's afterwards like a lot of 5th gen owners have been doing without HID's...maybe he got rid of the car and didn't want to give the car back or sell it with the headlights after he dished out $ for them...plus that bumper fits all 5th gens so that may mean it is a 2k or 2k1 like I said...

Why is that when someone try to sell something and pple think that it's been stolen?? Maybe the guy doesn't need them or want them.....
I bought my 2k2's from fellow org member. In the beginning I thought it's stolen one too but maybe not and I was thinking more it's not stolen headlights.....the guy drives 2k or 2k1 and he bought those 2k2 headlights but now he said he had to move to brooklyn and hav to street park his car so he doesn't even wanna bother putting it on, that's y he sold his headlights to me for really cheap price.....and also the guy was nice enough to trust me so he sent me the headlights first and if I like it and has nothing wrong with it I keep it, or if I don't want them he told me to just send it back to him.....I didn't even know that guy and he went through all that so I paid him $100 more on top of wuteva he asked for them headlights.....

Who knows if they were ever stolen or not? One thing I can tell you: that pic is probably stolen. Why? Because the headlights in that pic are already cleared out. Take a look. If he has the brand new lights from a brand new car he just bought, I doubt he'd have done all that stuff already...

I think he misused the word "New". Maybe he ment to use the word "Mint". I did that a few times on eBay. I just considered new because I had stuff for very short time.

...so assume the guy has a 03/03 max...why is he selling the HID's? again, and what is hegoing to do, replace the HIDs with regular lights from a 2k? doesn't make much sense...I'd stay away...this smacks of "stolen property."

I heard few people on this org that wanted to swap regular halogen headlights w/ their HIDs because they did not want to go through the hassle of getting them stolen. Lot of money to replace HIDs along w/ damaged area around their headlights

Doesn't insurance cover you if your HID's are stolen?

i know the owner of the car

i know the owner of the car. he lives around San Francisco. The car is sponsored by infinite motorsports. he has it loaded up with the most goodies i have ever seen on a max. stillen headers, air/fuel controller, custom exhaust w/out cats, injen intake, and venom nitrous kit on the way. he has a ground control coilover system with stillen sways and strut bars. the car used to look exactly like igor's (i.e. same rims) but now he has the stillen big mouth kit and touring kit around the car. the car has run high 13's at infineon raceway in sonoma. do not f around with it... by the way, it is a 2003, and i doubt he would sell his own lights. probably selling a set of stolen lights.

hope thats enough info for you guys
