I was pondering on my way home today, when i came across a (MB SLK230) who would win in a straight line race. I dont do that traffic race crap, what if you kill someone its just a bad idea. but anyway i was thinking the little 192 HP 2.3 liter engine in the MB wouldn't really have a chance against a 2000 auto Maxima? right?

well i was back in traffic a little way on a common 3 lane road down here in florida and stopped at a light was a MB SLK and a Mustang GT. I watched from behind as the Mustang DESTROYED the SLK by multiple car lengths. I have raced a Mustang GT before and he didnt beat me by that much

so i was wondering would a 2000 Maxima/ I30 auto, beat a MB SLK230?

and can the 2003 Maxima beat a 2003 Acura TL type S?

I would think that Max would take the MB, just not by that much. Yeah, it would be a drivers race with the TL-S.

 

Would it still be a driver's race in a 2k2 auto?

 

yes, due to Acura vtec system at higher at speed. if it is 0-60 nissan will win for sure, after that acura take over. that is pretty much the whole story.

 

My friend happened to have one of those. Stock for stock, you should take him by around half to a car length. With my mods i beat him by around 3-4 cars up to 85.
