Manual Shift ****
Is it possible for someone with mostly no knowledge in mechanics or experience in stuff like this to be able to install a different shift **** on a 2k Max w/o professional assistance?
And if I do need assistance, would a dealer mechanic be able to do it, and for what kind of labor cost?

it just unscrews, and then u screw on the new one. if the **** was never removed before it might be kinda hard to unscrew, but if u put some force on it, it will move

I didn't know considering they change from 5-spd to 6 and wasn't sure if the installation was the same. Gimme a break buddy, I just go the car on Tuesday.
