Yup i gotta say the sebring coupe is a pretty sweet *** car. My girlfriend is looking at them and they are nice. One we test drove was dark blue with nice 17" chrome rims and leather for like 26k sticker. Damn.....
Get this...It comes with a 3L v6 205hp and 205lb ft tq made by MITSUBISHI meaning no blue smoke out the tail pipe in a few years like most chryslers and is pretty damn smooth. mate that with a good ol american automagic and a sport shift that really works (IT wont shift into 2nd for you!!!) it just bounces off the redline untill you shift, i love it. Only bad thing about the car is the black plastic they use in the interior damn is it bland and cold. Need some softer plastics in there and the seat backs are plastic and not vinyl. Its still not as fast or smooth as the maxima but for an american car it really impressed me. Anyone else have experience with one??

Yeah I have. Chrysler is weird with the plastics it uses. If you've ever been in a 300M or LHS there is a mix of high quality soft touch plastics and hard brittle cheap plastics. I love the Chrome trimed backlit guages though. I would much rather have a 300M then a sebring. 253HP. I think the engine is really smooth.

nah the 300m is a pig for how much power it has. A 5th gen auto is still faster and cheaper. And yes ive driven a 300m and was not too impressed

Sebring and Stratus

Haven't driven them before, but I think the Dodge Stratus, especially the coupe, looks better. It's sportier, but I still prefer the canned Dodge Avenger. As for reliability, aren't Mitsubishi cars bad too (probably better than domestics)? I don't know much about their engines' reliability. The old Sebring looked good too.

Oh yeah, this belongs in OT.

Who cares if it is a mitsubishi engine. The minivans that chrylsler built with the 4cyl. engines were mits. enginges. And the puffed smoke just like the V6's did.

sorry...

having a Mits engine is not a good thing.. I've seen them fall apart at 60K. Ours was maintained very well and started leaking every type fluid it had, wheel bearing failed, dash came part.. and so on... we practically gave that pig away...

When I worked for Enterprise Rent A Car, we used to get those coupes and they were in the dealer constantly. Even one with less than a 1000 miles on them. Alot of the interior components make you think that you're in an Eclipse. Mechanically I would stay away from it..Mistu or not. Wait for the V6 Altima!!!

SO do I... I looked at them while my brother was looking at another car on the Dodge dealer's lot. They look good, and they probably drive well since they're basically Eclipses.
