How do you install these? Do they come with instructions and how long is installation time?

Do these come with an on and off so if I was to get these blue ones and get pulled over I could turn off with a flick of a switch and say what's the problem officer.

 

There is a dimmer option available, as far as I know.

 

Dimming is possible.
You can wire them to a switch if you wanted to, our wiring harness makes it a snap.

We hope to have the parts tomorrow, customs refused to act faster than a snail in winter today. So we'll hope to have the parts delivered to us by tomorrow and begin shipping on Wednesday.

As far as PMs, no, we don't do PMs.

We will notify each participant via email - the install guide will be completed some time between the time we receive these and the time they ship.

Please expect to only be able to download it at first.

 

I know this sounds like a stupid question but here goes...

Are these modifications to the headlight going to make them illegal. In other words, could I be given a ticket for the DDE lights or could I fail an annual safety inspection?

If so, I guess the solution is to put a hidden switch somewhere and just turn them off.

Well guys good news and bad news:

1) Customs cleared it this morning
2) Drivers (all 3 that we had allocated) can't deliver til tomorrow.
a) one truck is down
b) no same day service
c) it's the holidays and no one wants to work
3) Personally can't drive today to get them.

So, we're going to do this:
- pay a driver extra if he is willing to do the driving today
or
- just accept the shipment tomorrow @ 12pm, and get cracking.

Keep in mind, this is the day before New Year's. Our employees need lives too. The fact that we have none is frankly irrelevant

Just keeping you all in the loop. It appears to be that we will lose 24 hours.

Good News Bad News:

FedEx didn't pick up today, so Friday is the first day that Fedex will be working. We have a 9:00am pickup.

Second bad news, we only got 13 tracking numbers done today, the rest of them will follow tomorrow.

Good News? ALL shipments will go out on Friday.

Question ....are we getting this on saturday or monday? (for those who paid 2nd air) just a question dont shoot me now....i dont know how fed ex operates....

 

Fedex is operating tomorrow. If he ships it out 2nd day air, you wont get it till next week. It would cost more money for Saturday/ overnight delivery. Fedex didnt work 31st or today.

BTW, most of those tracking numbers reflect ground shipping, which will take longer.
