you should have the cool looking steel pedals. They come with the LSD package in the 2002 SE 6 spd cars. (I have it)

My car is a 6 speed, but are the clutch, brake and accelerator pedals with LSD different?I used to own a 96 se with 5 speed and the torque steer was terrible, but my 02 isn't a problem.

There are three ways to tell.

1)Drilled metal petals instead of the regular rubber ones on the non-HLSD cars.

2)There's a plate on the firewall in the engine compartment. Pop your hood and it's close to the top near the winshield wipers. I think it designates something with the transmission but in general if you see this:

RS6F51A-it doesn't have it.

RS6F51H-It does have.

3)Look at your window sticker.

it might be you had worse tires on your 96.

then when one slips the car wants to go in every which direction.
