Auto-up window feature.. when used, window goes up and goes down again by itself...

Is this supposed to happen?

When i pull the window switch for the window to roll up by itself, it sometimes goes up and then goes right back down to the exact same height as it was when i tried to raise it.

what's up with this?

Dude you need to reset the window regulator in the door. . There have been threads on how to reset the window regulator. Just do a quick search and There you will find the answer my son. Now go and Maximize your Maxima.

The same thing happened to me when I finished installing my speakers. To fix it I just took the door panel off again and unplugged connector for the power windows and plugged it back in. This reset everything for me, hope it helps.

That happened with my old Jetta and unplugging the connection works. That's probably step 1. Then make sure thing is stuck in the upper rubber molding that your window sits in when its up

I thought that you can only remotely roll the windows down. I just press and hold unlock. But I don't know how to remotely roll them up. Am I tripping?

If you mean using the remote by "remotely" that is not what i am talking about

I mean, from inside the cabin.. you're driving and your window is half way down and you pull the window switch up all the way and the window will roll up by itself.. but when it does so in my case, it will go up and close then automatically roll back down to the same height as it was before.

thanks for the suggestions guys, I will re-plug the connector.
