Try disconnecting your battery for a few hours . . .

If you touched the mass air sensor at all my guess would be that is your problem. That thin wire is extremely delicate and easily damaged.

Good ole check engine light....

I don't know which intake you put on your car, but I have the place racing CAI and not 15 minutes after installation the check engine light came on. I have had two diagnostic test run on the computer and both of them said that it was the barometric/map sensor. So what did I do, I replaced the sensor and then the light was still on. So then I put the very first piece of the factory intake back on and re mounted this sensor. ( This piece does not get in the way of the PRCAI) And after this the light went off. But then about 2 or 3 days later the light came back on and I have talked to many people who agree that it is just going to have to stay on. So I plan on running one more test on the computer and if it is the same thing, then I am going to take the light out of the dash, so that I don't have a bright orange light in my face all the time.

the first time i had the light come on... i took it to the dealer who said that it was because of my y-pipe. the computer said something was up w/ the exhaust, so when the lifted the car, they noticed by stillen y-pipe had no pre-cat. he told me he reset the ecu, but that the light would come back on.. which it did.. but he told me that if left alone, the light would eventually go off because the ecu's on these modern cars are 'smart' and will figure out that it should no longer stay on since nothing is being done. well, after a few weeks the thing did turn off. and it stayed off until i put in the stillen intake. a day after the install, the light came back on... waited a few weeks and it turned back off. a couple of days ago, it came back on though. i' m pretty sure that nothing is really going on w/ the car except for the intake and exhaust so i don't worry about it... just hoping that it will turn back off soon.

when i first put in my 'custom' intake for my car, my engine light did turn on but it turned off itself. after switching to stillen intake and y-pipe, i made sure i disconnected the battery prior to the install, and nothing yet. i think u can also reset the ecu and the check engine light will disappear.

No matter what brand of intake......

... you have it looks like the "Check Engine" light will probably come on if you don't disconnect the battery first. I made that mistake and tried resetting the computer 4 times in a 2 week period after I put on my aftermarket intake. I put back the stock box back in and the dealer said that I had a bad O2 sensor (fail code 61) which was a front O2 exhaust sensor. So try resetting it a few times if the problem is not solved put the stock box back on and take it in.... after I got the car back disconnected the battery first this time and now 4 months later no light.
